The Alphabet Stories Phonics Practice Book: Intermediate Letter Patterns and Sounds
Develops a multi-sensory approach to learning, which is beneficial to a wide range of students’ learning styles. Each letter introduced is reinforced with pictures of a person, place, thing, or animal. Clusters are color-coded and geometrically coded for easier access. Engages students in critically thinking about characters by asking and answering questions on each character introduced. Parents/ teachers are strongly encouraged to work collaboratively with their child (ren) /students. This volume supports greater cross-curricular content integration. Concepts are embedded in graphics and geometric representation for more learning and retention. It provides opportunities to practice initial and ending sounds of the alphabet in a context, using names of persons, animals, places, and things. Students are urged to work with a small set of sounds before introducing advance letter patterns and sounds.
